What’s your favorite bible verse?
Mine is Matthew 6:25-34
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And can any of you by worrying add a single hour to your span of life? And why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not clothed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ For it is the Gentiles who strive for all these things; and indeed your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. “So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own. Today’s trouble is enough for today."
What’s yours?
I find it incredibly hard to choose just one verse in that HUGE book to call "my favorite". As I have copied it by hand with a ballpoint pen onto looseleaf paper once, and am in the process of 5 more copies, I am astounded almost daily at the verses that just jump out at me as I go through that slow and tedious process. I wish everyone could do what I am doing. It will astound you as well. God Bless you.

The days are coming,” declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant
with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah.
It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors
when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt,
because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to them,” declares the Lord.
"This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the Lord. “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’
because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the Lord. “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”

And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace .29 The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it.
It shows us how God has made the provision for us to live on a peaceful earth, unlike common teachings of being tormented forever.

Luke 9:23 – And he said to all, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me."
For Luke 9:23, you have to believe (John 3:16) but there is something you have to do after and that’s following.
