What this means that if you are a mean hateful conniving person all that you do to people will turn around and come back to you. It doesn't mean that right away you will reap back what you sowed but it means the inevitable will come to you eventually and when it counts. All the bad you do will come back to haunt you even if you think you are in the clear.

The quote can mean many things, one thing I have always thought of when quoting it was raising my children. When my children were babies I showed them and taught them all that was good in our world. I spent so much time doing things with them that were creative. I taught them what love means, friendship and even the loss of a loved one. Now they are adults and I can see what I sowed in them and they are two fantastic daughters. In other words I reaped what I sowed in my children.

Yes, you get what’s coming to you. Karma. The chickens coming home to roost. etc. etc.

Sow is to plant seeds. Reap is to harvest/pick what you’ve planted. Therefore what you planted is what will grow.

And working hard and studying hard doesn’t guarantee you a good job. Other factors are often involved. But it helps…

Not to argue, but the three main religions (being Judaism, Islam, and Christianity) do in fact believe in the same exact God, which is what Aaron of Mewithoutyou is getting at. Everyone has thier own path to follow but a similar way of doing it.
