what does Romans 3:11, Hosea 10:12, Acts 17:27, and a verse I do not know mean to you?

-

Romans 3:11: there is none that understandeth , there is none that seeketh after God.
Hosea 10 :12: Sow to yourselfs in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, TILL he come and rain righteousness upon you.

acts 17:27.. that they should seek the Lord, if haply they might FEEL after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us.( this does not mean chanting on a bible) to me it means talking to him and asking for his spirit to draw to you, to know him in prayer. To feel for his spirit….not stick your eye’s in a bible and read verses….

??????(can not remember verse) seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and ALL these things shall be givin to you.

what do these verses mean to you, and does this have something to do with why Jesus was crusified?
I should of said JUST in my bible comment sorry.

1) all who think seek God
2) be good
3) it is a game of hide and seek, as I suspected all along
4) a song in church that I kind of like.

Not related to the crucifixion as far as I can see, but I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed.

RHH: Rate/Hate the verse…?

-

•Peeps askin’ for peace of mind so here’s a piece of mine yo
•Sometimes you reap what the blind sow, that’s blind hope
•At least I hope, I speak from what I wrote
•And I dream of a time gone, this childs grown
•2010 ain’t nothing like it was in nine-four
•Like the way the dying mourn, look behind the lions roar
•Power is deceiving sometimes quiet is worth dying for
•In the lions shiny paw I’m the mouse with the tiny thorn
•To whom it might concern should be famous dying words
•Blue collar or a writer’s work, gravestone, pyre or urn
•There’s an abstract fire to burn, money can’t pay for your body to turn
•In the grave, in this game, you can either have pride or be paid
•I try to choose the prior cuz some minds should be changed
•Speak the truth you won’t be famous till your alive from the grave
•Even then they deny your estate every dime to be made
•But my mind can’t be made, here’s a piece and a dime and a line for the brave
This is both organized correctly and everything in it is relevent, for the record .

Immortal Technique ft. Dead Prez – Angels & Demons (Lyrics)

-

reap what you sow verse[Hook: Bazaar Royale]
I see angels above me
Demons below me
Fighting over heaven, heaven, heaven
It’s real

[Verse 1: stic.man]
America’s nightmare; young, black, and just don’t give a fuck
Run up in the courtroom and wet ‘em up
Got nothing to lose but my handcuffs
Every man must choose to lay down or stand up
It’s war time, everything is fair, no fear
When they say the homie murdered the judge, I don’t care
Fuck ‘em, he deserved it, long as the homie get away
And don’t get caught for the crime, I encourage it
We rootin’ for the villain in black
Pourin’ out Absolut, salute, niggas is shootin’ back
In self defense we bang the pistol like
Larry Davis or Brian Nichols
Every pig, every public official, the boomerang
Is coming back to get you, you reap what you sow
The system you created created a monster
And now you scared cause it’s coming back to haunt you

[Hook x2]

[Verse 2: Immortal Technique]
I’m like the birth of baby Mohammed, the movement I started
Can spar with the hardest, the martyr regarded as Spartacus-hearted
It doesn’t matter whose missiles can shoot the farthest
When you’re a target in an Afghan Tutoberg Forest
Close quarters combat over corrupted elections
Bilderberg is like cancer, it grows an infection
Nepotism is the gold and the conductor’s connection
And ignorance is the prison that the people are kept in
The military ain’t there for the people’s protection
They’re just there to protect an investment
That’s why people get arrested, electrocuted, molested
Connected streets are infested with those tired of protestin’
Traumatized children grow to guerilla garrisons
9/11 generations pale in comparison
And you will learn a lesson repeated through history
That no matter what you think, occupation is not victory

[Hook x2]

[Verse 3: M-1]
Since we gonna take the blame, I’m a rep my name to get my aim right
Let’s have an overthrow and after party in the same night
Same height as Huey, same muscle build as Malcolm
With the same circumstances in the hood, you know the outcome
And read it in the news about your sergeant and your captain
Don’t take this as a warning, just another nigga rappin’
Fuck the way we organizing, the training and the grapplin’
And them Uncle Toms who call police because we smack them
And you sympathizers with your middle class reactions
Cause we bangin’ on the system, G’d up, the factions
And if you didn’t know, the G was for George Jackson
And long live his warrior spirit packin’ the Magnum
Watching over the soldiers, knowin’ niggas be blackin’
When we really need to be disciplined in our ways and actions
When we get some freedom you niggas can start braggin’
Till then, inside the blood of my eye, you see the dragon

Sow Sin, Reap Death

-

reap what you sow verseWe’re back today at Daniel chapter 4 verse 27 because God gave me another devotional thought that I thought I would share with you. This is about King Nebuchadnezzar having been warned by Daniel about the consequences of pride or sin. But King Nebuchadnezzar thought that he could sort of escape those consequences, he could continue to live for himself and be proud, and somehow escape the judgment and consequences of his sins.

Isn’t it true that we do not want consequences for our sins? We think that we can live our lives the way we want without consequences. The flesh wishes to lie without consequences, to cheat, to have a fling, to commit adultery without consequences and somehow, we think we can escape consequences. That is how sin deceives us, that is how sin fools us to think that we can get away scot-free. But that is a lie because there is a law of life.

Galatians 6:7: “Be not deceived (Don’t be fooled!); God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap. For he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption (decay, dying); but he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” You cannot change that. When you sin, when you sow sin, you will reap the death, the consequences of sin. Your sin will find you out, the Bible tells us. Therefore sins bring consequences. You die a little each time when you disobey. You know, the Word of God is given to set us free, to set us free from sin, its bondage and its consequences. The Word of God is not to restrict us, but to release us. It does not call us to legalism but liberty. It calls us to free ourselves from ruining ourselves and to live unto God. My friends, learn to break off sins in the power that the Holy Spirit provides and there will be blessings in obedience. There will be tranquility in verse 27, there will be a lengthening of your life. Otherwise, sin harms you and hurts you and it is so unnecessary. So may God help us today to be freed from the deceit and lies of sin. God bless.

Love/Shove the verse…?

-

haven’t posted a verse in a LONG time so here’s one I wrote about a month ago…

God tells me I should be meek and hustle
But the story of my life has been to seek, and stumble
Mad at the world, so that’s why, when I speak I grumble
Constantly lost in these thoughts, so I think and wonder
How can I feel at peace, like, when I sleep or slumber
And keep my spirit strong, so it never weakens, crumbles
And disintegrate to ashes, my legacy will fade
Every mourner that passes is happy I’ve seen the grave
A world of contradiction, when will it ever change?
No longer is composition cool, it’s all about the fame
Yeah I love to flirt with women, but not always bout the brain
What her thoughts is in her mind, is what the reason is I came
Because I have maturity, my peers see me as lame
But I can look into the mirror, see the picture fits the frame
What you reap is what you sow, this is what scripture proclaims
Every bullet has a label, every bullet has a name
Every nigga pulling triggers now, at least that’s what they claim
But when the covers pulled, they left with their reputation stained
So what you gonna do when pressure can’t be contained,
The explosion of emotions overloading on your brain?

that’s as far as I got….

LOVE IT!!! Don’t change a thing. It’s storytelling at it’s best. Remember that what you write is coming from your heart and your soul. If people knew you they would understand that this is YOUR LIFE and YOUR story…no one can change who you are and what you are.
Your rhymes are so literal and powerful and they teach a lesson in a way that isn’t pushing something down someones throat…most people wouldn’t realize the power of positive rhyming.
I think my favorite line is
Because I have maturity, my peers see me as lame
But I can look into the mirror, see the picture fits the frame
What you reap is what you sow, this is what scripture proclaims
It’s you all over…excellent…if only I could express myself in words like that. God has blessed you.
